The magic lantern
A bi-lingual youth opera in development funded by the Royal Opera House and the PRS Foundation. Maxine, a poor traveller, uses boxes of light - called "Magic Lanterns" - to entertain the public on the streets of London. But with a slave master chasing her, will the lantern's magic help her to escape?
